The One Who Loves Me

“I am not ashamed to say that no man is my father’s equal, and I never loved any other as much.” These are words to describe my father by Hedy Lamarr. Admiration of my father is evident because he plays inside and outside with me and encourages me to try new things all the time!                                                                                            My dad still plays with me around the house and when we go shopping and when we see our family. he also chases me, like when he told me not to run in a parking lot and then chased me to the other side, and when I steal the remote from him and he chases me to get it back and when he catches me, he tickles me until I have water in my eyes. The best thing is when we play soccer together, it’s our favorite sport!                                                                                            My dad encourages me to try new things like sushi for example. Although he isn’t always home when he is he encourages the whole family to try new things like roller coasters and skiing and snowboarding and to see our grandma and grandpa, and he also encourages me to help him fix our cars and learn so when it happens when he isn’t home I can do it.                                                                      Even though my dad is crusty and tired with age he still laughs and plays with the family like a little boy like me and the whole family, including my cat Jinxie, hope this fun adventure never ends.

The Day I Won’t Forget

I woke up as fast as I possibly could and ran to my mothers and fathers room and screamed as loud as I could “CAN I OPEN MY PRESENTS?!?!” my mother and father woke up with a start, and my mother said “We know it’s Christmas dear but you have to wait.”  It was a bright Christmas morning, no snow on the ground because we live in East Texas.  I went to wake my sister up and my parents made coffee and settled in. I asked again if I could open presents but they had to set up the camera first.  I started to look under our Christmas tree filled with ornaments and tried to figure out what was inside of each piece of wrapping paper.  It was after a few minutes, time to open the presents.  My parents went first, I get my mom new black earrings, and i got my dad a new gold watch with silver around the time.  Next it was my sister’s turn.  She opened the wrapper and received a 15$ itunes gift card, a basketball, a pack of gummy bears, and a watch she wanted from me.  It was finally my turn.  I ripped open my wrapper like a savage bear, I received a new basketball, like my sister, a steam gift card, which is an online gaming site, a pack of sour gummy worms, and my most favorite, a new soccer backpack.  After all the excitement of opening the presents died down we ate Christmas lunch.  When I finished my lunch, I went online and bought my friend a game called surgeon simulator.  After all that time I had to remember patience is key, and Christmas only comes once a year.

My Best Year Ever!

Almost exactly one year ago was the best year I’ve ever had, after going through the year people say, and I quote “The world will end this year” I’m here writing this story in 2013.  The first event that happened was January 6th 2013 was my mom’s birthday.  When she woke up my sister, dad, and I told her to stay in bed  while we make her a special breakfast and coffee.  I toasted the toast and my sister spread the peanut butter, my dad of course was making the coffee.  We finished and served it to my mother (which of course is the best mom in the world), she said she loved it!  Next was the presents, which of course since she was a grown women we all gave her jewelry, mine was a bracelet that said mom on it, my sisters were black earrings shaped like grapes(or that’s what I think), and my dad’s was a necklace with a fake or possibly real looking jewel on the bottom.  The rest of the day we all just sat down on the couch and watched movies.  My next event was during my latest summer.  My family went together and my sister showed me a book that I am into now (Warrior Cats).  I took two of the books home, to my surprise and my family’s surprise I got addicted by only two books!  Then the last event was the one that brightened my year up a whole lot.  CHRISTMAS OF 2013!  I got everything i wanted from a steam card to a ripstick.  I tried them all out that day.  That was the best year of my life yet we are going on to a new year of fun with the new resolutions.  My first resolution is sleeping for a whole day and, baking a pancake.
